Privacy policy

Wynnes Removals (“we”, “us”) provides removals and storage services across London, the UK and into Europe. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to quote for and carry out your move. This policy sits alongside your rights under UK data protection law.

What we collect

When you complete the quote form or email us, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the pickup and drop-off addresses, an optional moving date, and any notes you add about the move. We do not ask for payment card details through the website.

Why we collect it

We use your details to prepare your quote, to contact you about it, and — if you go ahead — to plan and carry out your move. That is the lawful basis of taking steps at your request and performing the service you have asked for. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Your details are handled by our own team and, where a move requires it, the partners directly involved in delivering your job — for example a European road partner or a storage provider for the relevant part of the move. They only receive what they need to do their part, and only for that purpose.

The form, spam protection and analytics

The quote form may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam, which is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms. We may also use privacy-respecting website analytics to understand how the site is used and improve it. These tools may set cookies or process limited technical data such as your IP address; they are not used to identify you personally for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and move records for as long as we need them to provide the service, deal with any follow-up or claim, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. When we no longer need them, we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. To do any of that, or if you have a concern about how we handle your data, email us at hello@wynnesremovals.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the current one, and any material change will be reflected here.
